Sorry About The Long Pause~

First a big shout out to the "Ridgeway Family" with my sincere apology for any inconvenience they had to deal with because of my blog not being found.

There is so much to say I just don't know where to start.
So, here goes!  First I'd like to say that when it rains it pours. I'm sure many people understand that phrase.

I must be honest and say that 2009 is and was my worse year EvER!  There was a death in the Family in late October, and I took it very hard. I had been unemployed for so long I was getting really worried about how I was going to make ends meet.

But, here we are at the end of the year and I want to say that I am determined to make 2010 my Best year ever.

I actually landed a part-time job half way through November which isn't the greatest, but boy oh boy it sure is great getting some kind of a regular income on a weekly basis.  That along with the little money I have been making online is what pays for my overhead.

I appreciate anyone and everyone who has started to follow my blog and again want to say that I am sorry for any inconvenience anyone had to deal with.

Believe me when I say, I really do want to help anyone who is interested in learning how to avoid all the brick walls that are online, and how to stay on track. Since I have learned the hard way how to stay focused, and what I mean by that is, I have wasted almost 2 years getting sidetracked.  Mind you it was only because I was so eager to learn, but unfortunately did everything the wrong way.

Hopefully You will learn by My Mistakes!

You could save so much time by staying focused! Attacking things One-Step-At-A-Time!  And, I'll say it again, stay Focused!

Now, I don't know what level everyone is at in their search for knowledge about online success, so I'm going to put things out there and you can decide what you feel would suit you best at this time.

Wow, if you need how to learn to set up an "Autoresponder", I must say I have seen a few people offering assistance in that field, but I decided to check out a "Free" course. (Don't be so eager to spend unless you feel what you are purchasing will Totally Benefit You!)

You can take a "30 Day Challenge"  which will give you instructions on a daily basis for you to accomplish, and the great thing about it is, you can go at your own pace. You know, just save each lesson and do each one step-by-step until You Understand. It's Great.

Here is a link for you to sign up for FREE!  Now, when you sign up for free, like I said, you will get an email every day for 30 days where each day you can just continue on or keep working on the lesson from the day before until You are ready to move on.  There is an upgrade where you can purchase the lessons on video where you will get to look over the shoulder of "Bob The Teacher" and watch what he's doing, when he's doing it and hear why You will benefit from it.

If You can afford to purchase the videos, I would recommend doing so, because I wish I had the money to purchase them when I had started. I love video instruction! I am definitely a hands on kind of person and learn the best when I can actually see it being done.  Yes, I still learn through reading, but it does take me longer that way because I have to sometimes go over something a few times before I truly understand.

The Best thing for You to do is check out the Site yourself and you'll see what I mean. Even when You sign up for the Free course, you won't believe the freebies that Bob gives out.

Bob Jenkins aka "Bob The Teacher" really shows how much he cares about the people that follow him.

I have been, and am still doing Affiliate Marketing because I find that is one of the easiest ways to get established online.  All the hard work is done for you, and you just have to advertise your affiliate link to bring in some extra cash until you get to the stage where you can put out your own product.

Now as far as affiliate products go, of course "ClickBank" is one of the best places to get started.

I want to just say a few things that I feel are important to when getting started.

==> Don't be afraid. :)
==> Find Your Niche. >>Very Important!
==> Even if it's one thing to start, find something you would like to be an Affiliate for and start advertising.(good experience and gives you the feel of things)
==> Join as many "Safelist" as you can, especially keeping an eye out for Free Upgrades. Jump on those.
==> The same goes for "Traffic Sites"
==> Join a "Link Cloaker" >>unfortunately there are link pirates who try and steal your commissions. :(

A Great link cloaker that is very well known online and loved by many is ViralURL!  Get signed up for Free, but this is definitely a place to upgrade if it's in Your budget.

Well, I think I have talked way too long and hope I haven't lost your interest, but I think that since it's after 11pm and the New Year will be with us soon, I should get ready to cheer it in!

The Brick Wall.

Well, I hope you're having better luck than what's been going on with me, and I only mean that in the financial way. 

I don't know if I mentioned it, but I'm unemployed and have been now for over a year.
Yeah, that's what I say. :) I feel that the way the economy has been, employers are really taking advantage of the situation, by lowering the hourly wage substantially for the specific position.

A n y w a y ... having said that, you might understand a little bit more about me, and why it seems that I am jumping from one topic to another sometimes. I get really excited when I do something and then step back and see it actually makes sense.

There is a site that I really like, (one amongst many) and when I log on to check out people's opinion I sometimes forget to leave and end up reading for a couple of hours.

IF You are interested in knowing about a Site go to ------------------------ and join up for FREE, then start searching for the names of some of the programs you are a member of already, and you might just un-subscribe, and join some new ones that you what to check out based on the Opinions of the people who have had experiences with the specific site. I know this sounds all mumbo jumbo, so just go to the site and you'll see what I'm talking about. I think it's pretty useful.

Oh yeah, you can make some money from the site also, I can't get into that aspect of the site because I haven't check out all the details regarding making money yet. Oh, but I will.:)

Right now I've hit a brick wall because of my finances and feel I have missed a couple of good opportunities, BUT if they Are Good, they should still be available when I do get back on my feet and able to make that purchase.

Now, if you do have money to spend, and you're looking for something that will guide you, put you on the road to riches, sort of speak,I would definitely check out one of "Michael Cheney" programs, because I like Michael's "story" and want to believe him, BUT, I always have that bit of skepticism because, yes me fellow marketer, I have been ripped off a couple of times and still am pissed that happened!

I also want to drop a couple of names of programs/sites that I like and if you get a chance, you might want to check them out. Remember, I am on a Very Tight Budget right now, so the info I am putting out there will cost you ZERO (0) or under $10.00 and even that sounds expensive to me this morning.

Ooops, gotta run for now, my dog Rosie is getting a bit edgy and wants to get outside. I think she is getting sick of seeing me sitting at the computer all the time.

Lost In Space.

Oh no, I am having so many problems with my computer and can't afford to
have repairs done at this time.

I lost most of my work, (hard way to learn "back-up files". :)

Anyway, as you can see, I haven't posted for over a month, because that
is how long it took for me to get my computer running for me to use
until I can either have it fixed or get a New computer. (oh happy days)

I have been also working on a small craft shop that I started in
December 08. In my spare time, I love to craft, so putting my designs online
will hopefully get me some money to invest in a new computer.

I will be starting another blog just for the craft shop, so once I do, I'll list the link here for you to check out in Your spare time.

Sorry to get off track, but I just wanted to mention that because when I start to get info overload from the hours I spend online, that is when I have to walk away from the computer and chill. That's when I start crafting.

I'll just leave this post as is and not add any of the new things I've been doing, so they don't get lost here.

I had a chance to visit the Ex with one of my daughter's and I must say the visit was very disappointing. The layout looks messy and the prices were ridiculous. So much for that.

Wow, the time goes by so fast, especially in cyberspace.

Today's topic= "Affiliate Marketing".

For someone just starting off, being an Affiliate
would be a good choice to start earning an
income. Just get your link for the product of choice
and advertise, advertise, advertise.

Mind you, if you wanted to be an Affiliate
with your own Website, I believe you would
climb higher in earnings.

Of course "Clickbank" is a favourite spot to start
you on the road to "Affiliate Marketing".

and that would be "PayDotCom.com".

Joining both "Clickbank" and "PayDotCom" will
give Your Members and/or Visitors more options,
which in turn can Increase Your Sales and Earnings.

* Join both sites.
* Find Hot products to sell.
* Create a "hoplink".
* Start advertising Your "hoplink".

Four steps to start you off as an Affiliate.

There are many people online who earn an Excellent
income just selling other people's products.

Of course, if You decided to have Your Own Website
with Affiliate products, you would have total control
over how you present your products, ways to entice
visitors to purchase, and You can have an opt-in page
on Your Website to Increase Your list of people who
become dedicated followers who trust your advice and
or suggestions.

We all know that the larger Your List is the better
chance of earning a good income Online.

AUTORESPONDERS

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend with family and friends.

It is very hot here in Toronto, Canada.

Everyone pretty much finds out quick enough, that You will be needing
an "Autoresponder".

I don't know how far everyone is with setting up a website or trying to build a list of your own.

It all depends on what you as an individual are looking for online.
Myself, I am hoping to earn a living from Internet Marketing.

Like I said, You will find out soon enough, in order to help build Your list, an
Autoresponder makes a huge difference in collecting potential members to
Your list.

Depending on Your Budget, there are a few different autoresponders you can join. Usually costing about $20.00 per month for a good one.

Since I am not yet familiar how to use one, I was really happy when I found a 'Safelist" that has an "Autoresponder" included.

I figured this option would be great to learn how to set up
an Autoresponder while growing a Contact List.
Learning one step at a time.

Wow, a week goes by really quick.

I have been of course reading and
joining a couple of good programs for
the Newbie that in my opinion will
really help anyone who is trying to
earn an Income Online.

I find the biggest problem for me is,
not having enough money to upgrade
in some good traffic sites, and safelist.

So far I'm doing pretty good and getting closer
to having my own Website up and running.

Not to mention I definately will have a few
other income streams happening.

What I do keep my eyes open for is, Free Upgrades
for new Traffic Sites, Traffic Exchanges and Safelists.

It's great because you can immediately send out some
"Solo" ads which can reach thousands.

Like I have mentioned often, I am on a limited budget,
so finding Free upgrades really help, so do take the time
when you see one and join up.  Don't forget to Confirm
and you should do that right away so you don't forget,
and end up losing the membership.

What's Your Niche?

Hi Everybody,

Hope everyone had a Great weekend, and that includes
earning some cool cash online.

Now for me, I'm earning a little here and
a little there.

Of course my ultimate goal is to be earning
enough money to work full-time from home, and
to spread the word and show the way.

Now because I have limited funds to work with,
and I mean limited, I read, search, read more.

I don't stop until I find a Great ebook, program, software,
anything, I feel can help me get a
step closer to my ultimate dream. (There's a lot out there)

It sure would be helpful to know who is telling the truth.
Which program Really Works?

I have already admitted that having limited funds,
has been a blessing in disguise. Why, you say?

Have You ever been ripped off? You know, joined
a program only to find out, what you bought
doesn't even come close to what You were Told?

Yeah, me too. Now, could you imagine if I had
thousands to spare? You got it!

I would have been buying up Everything.(Whew!)

Now, getting to my Title, "What's Your Niche"?

The reason I ask is, Finally, the day has come
when an idea came into my head for a niche.

You see, the problem before was, wanting to talk
about all the Good Stuff that is Available out
there, and having a hard time trying to focus on one.

So, as of Today, I have my idea for my niche. (I hope) :)
Sorry, it's a secret right now until I get a website
on it.

What I'm going to do now is, check out some Domain Names.
You know, play around with different ideas, and check
to see if there is any similar ones that might help
as far as some visual options.

I'm Back.

How's Everyone Doing?

Sorry it took me so long to get back here
to my Blog, but there has been some
Personal Family situations that had to be
dealt with.

Now that all that is cleared up, what have I
been up to?

Well...I have joined a couple of programs to
try and guide me into starting up my first
Website.

The first program I have joined is;

"Marketing Beginners"

This is a program where they will show you
how to Create a Site, how to Pick a Domain
Name,and more info that can help You
especially if You are a Newbie.

I have just started this program myself, so
I will be posting my progress as it happens along the

I also joined a couple of Traffic Sites, and

Think Big Publications belongs to Brett Ingram, and I
have to tell you, I love the way he explains things so
clearly, and has good info reports for you to read.

The best thing is everything Brett talks about will be
worth listening to, especially if you are a Newbie looking
for guidance.

I have been jumping around from one info product to the next,
and one Guru to the next, but I think I have finally found
a Mentors who I can totally understand, and he is "Brett Ingram",
for now. :)


Brett is a new Mentor, but so far I like what he
has to say, so I'll continue following him.

I told you, it's hard trying to find the right Mentor. :)

I'm not sure if it's strictly enforced to have only
one Mentor.

Well, I'm going to register a Website so that I can
follow some of Brett's suggestions, and I can't wait to
pass on to You, the progress of my Website.

Building the Contact List

I'm sure everyone by now has heard a million times over how important it is to have a large following, who has over time, gotten to know you and trust you.

A good way to start is get yourself out there. Don't be afraid to try things for the first time. It's okay if you make a mistake. I think by trying you learn much better than to read too much on how to do something. Reading too much can be an overload of information for your brain.

Since I've started looking for ways to expand my list of contacts, I have read many articles, listened to webinars, read e-books galore. One thing I kept asking was for someone, just one person to have a program that will show me step by step how to, for example, setup an "OTO" (one time offer). I have yet to find any program out there with complete directions. First I have to buy part one, then I have to buy part two, and so on. I have spent what little money I have on programs that don't even come close to what they say can be done. :(

Be careful and don't be quick to buy everything that looks good, because that is the whole idea for some marketers. Their website is made to grab your money and never see you again.

Don't forget your good friend "Google"! You can get many Free programs to help you on your way.

Get signed up to good Traffic Sites, and become affiliates to earn some small cash that can help you with some of the purchases you want to make. This way you're spending money that is earned and not out of your pocket.

Set up a blog with information you feel people are interested in. Once you do that you can start putting your link in all the traffic sites so that people get to see you and start to get familiar with you.

Trials and Tribulations.

Hello Fellow Marketers,

My opening topic is to let you know what the contents will be in this Blog.

This blog will mainly be for all the Newbies out there who could use some helpful information, suggestions, or some guidance to maybe help You avoid alot of wasted time and money. To put you on track to a place where you feel comfortable to venture on your own gathering knowledge and experiences to bring back and share with your fellow Novice Marketer.

Any and All Information from Successful Marketers is Welcome and Appreciated!

I will be shooting straight from the hips, => meaning... Speaking the Truth, telling it like it is according to My Experiences with different programs and Many Traffic Sites.

A little about me; I am a Mother of two, a Granny of two, and a pet owner of a beautiful dog and cat. I love to sew, craft, walk my dog and design jewelry.
I've always fantasized about being a Successful online Internet Marketer, until one day I figured, Hey!, instead of fantasizing why not try it. At least I could say I tried, if all else failed.
(That is the Only time the word "fail" came out of my mouth, or through my fingers, because I am definately someone who sees a glass half full!)

Now, when I first started, work related navigation on the computer was easy, but when it came to,"Splash Page", "Autoresponder", "Website", "Downline", "Html", "OTO",...Yikes! I felt overwhelmed and overloaded.
You see, one of my problelms, which I still deal with, is Getting Sidetracked! I say that because there is a lot of excellent material online, and I want to absorbe it all. Staying on track is important, and doings procedures one-at-a-time will bring you to your final results, quicker.

So I say the best place to start is, try to find a Mentor who you feel is someone You would like to be like. Gather as much information you can on that person, like the programs they are into, read their blog, and definately check out their site. See if it's something you'd like to be doing, and don't just look at their income.(Remember, that varies per member). If you join and represent something you aren't really into, the odds are against you. While looking for a Mentor, you should always be trying to build your list of contacts.(more on that in the next posting)

I will be listing some really good traffic sites that are Free to use with good results. Some traffic sites where if you upgrade to a paid member, you will get Excellent results. A good program where I am a member, and another program where I am a member through a 60 day trial. A Great way to check out a program for yourself, hands on!

It's been almost 2 years, yes 2 years since I started reading about, and listening to, hundreds of success stories. If you are Not a computer techie I really believe finding a Mentor is the smart way to go. It sounds so simple, but believe me when I say it will be one of the hardest choices you'll have to make. As I'm sure you already know.~

Please be patient while I iron out all the kinks in my blog, because my main concern is having a wide variety of information for the Newbie/Novice, at their fingertips.
